
Jamshedpur: �A day after the election commission announced dates for the Lok Sabha election 2019, East Singhbhum deputy commissioner cum district returning officer Amit Kumar on Monday held a meeting with representatives of political parties at DC office. The meet focused on to ensure better compliance towards model code of conduct, which came into affect soon after the election dates were announced.
Representatives of various political parties were given detail information about the model code of conduct and how political outfits can help ensure free and fair polls as per directives of the Election Commission of India. DC appealed all the political parties not to violate the model code of conduct.
