Jamshedpur, Feb 14: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Thursday convened a meeting to dicuss implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana.
He directed the district officials concerned to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach all small and marginalized farmers. The farmers having less than two hectare or five acres of land are eligible for the scheme.
The DC said a list of such beneficiaries should be prepared and notices should be served to them. A self-declaration should also be taken from the farmers, he said.
The DC deputed senior district administration officials for implementing the scheme in different areas of East Singhbhum.
