DC hears complaints at Janata Milan in Seraikela

Seraikela: A public hearing titled �Janata Milan� was organized at the Seraikela-Khasawan Collectorate on Tuesday. It was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan.

While hearing numerous grievances related to land dispute, pension, public amenities, education and other issues, the DC said the people should avail the benefits of various government schemes being run in the district. The very purpose of such public hearings is to give an opportunity to the people to approach district administration officials and get their grievances heard, he said.

The DC heard problems of as many as 31 visitors to the Janata Milan programme and directed the district administration officials concerned to take prompt action for the early disposal of complaints. He also met UCIL officials after Janata Milan.
