Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer Amit Kumar Tuesday flagged off a voters� awareness special train (Howrah-Ahmedabad Express) at Tatanagar railway station. He was accompanied by the station superintendent and various senior officials of GRP, RPF and district administration.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said the train was selected for spreading awareness among voters by the Election Commission of India. Howrah-Ahmedabad Express passes through six states, the reason why it was chosen for the awareness drive, he said.
Posters with messages on voters� awareness were pasted outside all bogies of the train. The train was flagged off at platform number 3.
