DC convenes meeting of election officials

Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner cum District Returning Officer of East Singhbhum Ravi Shankar Shukla Monday convened a meeting of district election officials and informed them about their responsibilities and duties. The meeting was held at SNTI Auditorium. The officials were asked to conduct regular inspections and mobilize their sources to take cognizance of cases of violation of Model Code of Conduct. The DC said cVIGIL App should be used to keep tab on Model Code violation cases. He said action would be taken within 100 minutes in all cases reported through the App.

Many district officials including SSP, SP City, DDC, ADC, ADC Law and order and Assistant Returning Officers were present at the meeting.
