DC convenes education dept meeting

Seraikela: The deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan today convened a meeting of the education department and reviewed the work being done by the officials concerned.

The meeting was also attended by the district superintendent of education, district education officer and other education department officials.

The topics discussed during the meeting included midday meal, scholarship being given to students by the government, civil construction works in schools across the district and other related issues.

The DC expressed satisfaction over the performance of the department, sources said.
