DC asks Circle Officers to identify land for pending projects

Jamshedpur: The deputy commissioner (DC) of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar held a meeting of the land and revenue department at DC Office auditorium on Thursday and directed the officials concerned to identify and transfer land for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) projects.

Kumar further asked the circle officer of Jamshedpur to earmark land for the proposed construction of power sub-station at Sonari Domuhani, Kadamdih and Baliguma.

He also asked the circle officers of Kokpara and Shyam Sunderpur to find land for power sub-station projects in their respective areas.

He asked all circle officers of the district to identify land and transfer the same for the purpose of implementing various pending development projects.

Kumar further directed the authorities to ensure timely disposal of pending mutation cases. He said all khatiyan records should be saved in digital form at the earliest.

He said the documents related to e-Revenue Courts should also be uploaded on the government website concerned. He said the salaries of computer operators not working satisfactorily should be withheld with immediate effect.

The DC directed the circle officers of Potka and Bodam to find suitable land for the construction of degree colleges.

He issued similar directive to Patamada CO to find land for the proposed Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. The Patamada CO was asked to identify 10 acres of land for the school.

Kumar also asked the certificate officer to get list of bank loan defaulters from all banks and issue notices to defaulters to realize the loan amounts.

Today�s meeting was also attended by ADC Sunil Kumar and SDO Dhalbhum Prabhat Kumar.
