Seraikela, Jan 11: Seraikela-Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner A Dodde and Superintendent of Police (SP) Karthik S jointly inaugurated road safety week celebrations in Seraikela on Saturday. On this occasion, people were administered oath of road safety and urged to wear helmets and seat belts while driving.
The DC said the road safety campaign would continue till 17th January. He said the drivers should be careful on road. He said the district traffic police and transport department will be jointly running vehicle checking drive at various places throughout the week. He asked the district transport officer (DTO) to prepare a list of fines before checking vehicles.
The SP said both private as well as commercial vehicles would be checked during the campaign.
