DBMS Kadma marks I-Day with patriotic fervour

Jamshedpur, August 15: D.B.M.S. Kadma High School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, where the spirit of unity and patriotism echoed across the campus. Students, teachers, and dignitaries gathered to honour India’s freedom and the sacrifices of its brave freedom fighters.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by Malini Ashok, Co-ordinator of the Junior School, in the presence of members of the School Managing Committee, Principal, Vice-Principals, and teachers. As the tricolour unfurled, the National Anthem resonated in unison, filling every heart with pride.

Addressing the gathering, Malini Ashok reminded the students that freedom is both a privilege and a responsibility. “Rise, young India, and take the lead, contribute to the nation’s growth and creed,” she urged, inspiring the students to play an active role in the country’s progress.

The programme featured stirring speeches by Pratyusha Nayak of Std. XII-D and Tanisha Kumari from Lilliput School, followed by a soulful patriotic song presented by the school choir.

The event was graced by dignitaries including Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), Usha Malini (Joint Secretary), P.S. Aruna (Joint Treasurer), Principal Gurpreet Bhambra, Vice-Principals Suparna Roy and S. Shireen, along with teachers and staff.
