Jamshedpur, Sep 27: Twenty five students of DBMS Kadma High School have done themselves and their alma mater proud by scoring 90% and above in the CBSE Board Examination.
18 students from Std X and 7 students from Std XII were felicitated in special assembly where they were given cash awards to recognize their hard work and to motivate others.
Md Raiyyanuddin (96.8%) topped the score-chart from the Secondary level and Debraj Karmakar (96%) from the Science stream and Kali Agarwal (96.6%) from the Commerce stream were the toppers from the Senior Secondary level.
A special cash award was given to Debraj Karmakar for getting into IIT Kanpur.
To motivate the students B Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Finance), Lalitha Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Administration and President), Uma Ramani (Secretary), Anita Ramkrishna (Joint Secretary), Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Gurpreet Bhambra (Principal), Suparna Roy (Senior School Vice Principal), S Shireen (Junior School Vice Principal)and the teachers.
