Jamshedpur: In a thrilling three-day event, the CBSE Zonal (East Zone) Archery Championship 2023, hosted by SDSM School for Excellence, witnessed an impressive display of archery skills by 300 participants hailing from 57 different schools.
The event, which aimed to promote both skill and sportsmanship, culminated with a grand celebration of talent and dedication.
Moushumi Das, Principal of SDSM School for Excellence, presented school report, encouraging the young archers with the motto, “Be Happy, Be Safe, and Keep Growing.”
Chief Guests Tira Samantha and Komalika Bari, both International Archers, graced the occasion and awarded the deserving winners with well-earned medals, adding to the prestige of the championship.
SDSM School Chairman Diwakar Singh, presented the Runner’s Up trophy to Shiksha Niketan School, Telco, Jamshedpur. However, the pinnacle of the event was reached when DBMS Kadma High School, Jamshedpur, was crowned the Overall Winner of the East Zone Archery Championship, bringing immense pride to their school and supporters.
