Jamshedpur, Aug 1: The installation ceremony of the DBMS Kadma High School Senate was organized on Monday, August 1 for the Academic Session 2022-’23. The Senate members took the oath to work spiritedly towards achieving the vision and mission of the school. They vowed to perform their duties in the most diligent and pro-active manner.
Members of the school’s managing committee Lalitha Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Administration and President), B Chandrashekhar (Chairperson – Finance), Bhuvna Krishnan(Treasurer) and Anita Ramkrishna (Joint Secretary) along with Gurpreet Bhamra (Principal), Suparna Roy and S Shireen (Senior and Junior School Vice Principals respectively), Malini Ashok, Suprava Panda and Benazir Gulshan (Co-ordinaters) and Moderators of the various houses were present during the Senate’s oath taking function.
Lalitha Chandrashekhar observed on the occasion, “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. The school senate members play a pivotal role in promoting sense of responsibility among the students. We, at DBMS Kadma High School, train children by providing them additional responsibilities thereby helping them to overcome their fears and emerge as good leaders.”
The School Senate President Rounak Majumdar (XII C), and Vice President Sahil Ali Khan (XI A) were administered the Oath of Office on Monday along with House Captains Saptarshi Ghosh of XII B (Ruby), Soumya Shekhar of XII A (Emerald), Santawna Patnaik of XII B (Sapphire) and Arindam Banerjee of XII B (Topaz).
Departmental Ministers who took the Oath of Office at the ceremony organized on August 1 were Mehak Mehra of XII A (Cultural), Sachi Prasad of XII B (Sports) and P Lalit of XII A (Discipline).
