Jamshedpur, July 30: The English Department of DBMS Kadma High School organized a two-day Inter-House Spell Bee Competition for the academic year 2025–26 on July 28 and 29. Students from Standards 1 to 8 enthusiastically participated in the event, which aimed to improve spelling proficiency, build confidence in verbal expression, and promote better command over the English language.
Participants were grouped into four categories based on their classes. The competition featured a series of engaging and challenging rounds that tested the spelling abilities of the students.
The winners were as follows: Group A (Std 1 & 2): Ruby House – Azaan Imam and Aanjanya Prakas, Group B (Std 3 & 4): Topaz House – Varnit and Abheri Mazumdar, Group C (Std 5 & 6): Emerald House – Raghvendra Pratap Singh and Kritika Chandra, Group D (Std 7 & 8): Emerald House – Arpan Mahato and Om Katyayan.
The event was graced by Principal Gurpreet Bhambra, Vice-Principals Suparna Roy and S. Shireen, along with coordinators and teachers, who encouraged the young spellers with their presence.
