Jamshedpur: Dakshina Bharata Mahila Samaj (DBMS), Jamshedpur, is celebrating Navratri with its traditional Gudiya Puja at its premises in B H Area, Kadma. As part of the festivities, members of the Samaj chanted the Sri Lalita Sahasranama and performed a special puja today.
Highlight of this year’s celebration is the installation of a new statue of Goddess Saraswati, which was decorated with bangles. A few students participated in the installation and decoration of the statue, adding a youthful touch to the event. The pujas will continue till October 12, with more rituals planned throughout the week.
