DBMS hosts ASISC Regional hockey selection trials

Jamshedpur, August 13: DBMS English School organised selection trial to form the ASISC Regional Hockey team to represent in National Hockey Team championship to be played at Hyderabad in the month of November, 2016, at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday, August 13.

The trial was played between the host school DBMS English School and the visiting Don Bosco School, Gumla. The match was conducted for the short duration due to the status of the ground.

Both the team players showed their skills of the sticks and gave their best as the trial was a treat to watch. The Ranchi Zone was represented by Don Bosco School and Jamshedpur Zone was represented by DBMS English School.

Hemant Kumar was the Coach of Jamshedpur Zone Hockey Team and while Rajesh was the coach of Ranchi Zone. The selection committee selected the team which will be announced later.

Earlier, the match started with the formal introduction of the players. Rajani Shekhar, Principal , P. K. Sahu, Vice-Principal of DBMS English School were introduced with the referees, players and coaches of both teams.

Principal Rajani Shekhar admired the efforts of Games Co-ordinator and the whole team for their complete involvement to the task assigned and to make this event a success.

The ASISC – National Hockey Team championship will be played at Hyderabad in the month of November, 2016.
