Jamshedpur, Nov 23: Motilal Nehru Public School successfully organized its Inter-School Quiz Event, RanBhumi 2.0, on November 23rd, centred around Scriptures Related to Science. The event was inaugurated by Chairman Akhilesh Dubey, with Hon. Secretary Dr. D.P. Shukla and other esteemed members of the school managing committee in attendance. Principal Sangeeta Singh, Vice-Principals Rakhi Mitra and Bindu Ahuja, along with event coordinators, ensured the smooth flow of the event.
The quiz, compered by Aniket and Unnati (11A), featured an introduction to the theme by Ritu Kumari (8B) and Hrishika (8C). Ajib Kumar Rout, the Quiz Master, engaged participants with his captivating oratory, helping them understand the connection between ancient scriptures and scientific knowledge.
Ten schools participated, with teams of two students from classes 9-12. The quiz aimed to promote understanding of ancient scientific texts while enhancing students’ teamwork and analytical skills. The winners were DBMS English School, who secured first place with their team “Manusmriti Minds.” Tarapore School finished as first runners-up with “Puranic Pioneers,” while Loyola School’s “Scriptural Scholars” took the second runner-up position. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Auric Dev (11B), highlighting the event’s success and educational value.
