DBMS English School Jamshedpur student sent home without accompanist, traffic police to the rescue

Jamshedpur, October 7: A four-year old student of DBMS English School in Kadma, was left to go home early because the school shut early. No accompanist was provided for the child. The kid was found heading early towards his home in Sonari when he was spotted by the traffic police in the course of traffic checking on the Kadma-Sonari link road.

ASI Vinay Kumar Singh of the traffic police noticed the child walking alone and narrowly escaping a vehicle accident. Singh immediately halted the traffic check, called the child over, and obtained his mother’s contact number from his school diary. The police informed the family, who soon arrived to take the child home safely.

The family expressed its gratitude to the traffic police for their timely intervention but accused the school management of negligence. They questioned how such a young child could be left unsupervised, raising concerns about potential accidents or abductions had the police not intervened. Many are now criticizing the school management for this lapse in responsibility.
