Jamshedpur, Sept 12: �Prayas for Success- 2015� organised by Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) was a grand success with ten schools participating in a series of truly creative events like Sound Hound, Dubsmash, Retrica, Quizoid, Humanoid Freestyle, Evernote, Search Engine, Cryptic, Splash Your Picasso, Ensamblador.
The event anchored by Sudipta, Kr. Prafful, Sayeed , Sanjeev, Romi, Chaitanya, and Pooja reflected a perfect blend in co-ordination. While D.B.M.S English School emerged the winner, Rajendra Vidyalaya bagged the runner-up position.
Jack Of All Trades was Church School, Beldih while Best Discipline School award went to Hill Top School.
Winners of the on stage events were: Sound Hound- Rajendra Vidyalaya was the winner followed by Dayanand Public School and Kerala Samajam Model School.
Humaoid Freestyle- DBMS bagged the first prize followed by Dayanand Public School and Andhra Association. Quizoid- DBMS was first while Andhra Association. And JH Tarapore ended second and third respectively. Dubsmash- DBMS first followed by A D L Sunshine and Rajendra Vidyalaya. Retrica- Rajendra Vidyalaya first while A D L Sunshine and Beldih Church were second and third.
Earlier in the morning, the event was inaugurated by Mr. R.P Tyagi, Chairman, School Managing Committee, Principal Mrs. Ashu Tiwary and Event Moderator Mrs. Keya Adak, Event President Sudipta Das. Principal of School of Hope, Principal of Asha Kiran and Secretary of P.A.T.H were also present on this occasion.
�PRAYAS� is basically aimed at developing the latent talent in youngsters. Jyoti unit had donated forty-five thousand to School of Hope, Asha Kiran and P.A.T.H which was collected by entry fees of participants and audiences of different schools.
Dr. D.P Shukla, Secretary, School Managing Committee, gave away the prizes to the winners. In his speech, Dr. D.P. Shukla lauded the efforts of the Jyoti unit of the school in sustaining creativity amongst youngsters. He also appreciated the efforts put in by the Jyoti unit members and the Moderator.
In the Day�s event renowned artist from Bollywood, Arun Dev (Singer, Composer and performer) performed and judged the band event.
Rohit Karmakar (Bollywood Choreographer) also performed and entertained the young crowd.
