Jamshedpur, Dec 23: D.B.M.S. College of Education successfully organized a one-day National Workshop on the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), with active participation from teachers and principals of government schools across Jamshedpur.
The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting in the presence of Dilip Mangraj, Satish Singh, Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita and Vice-Principal Dr. Monika Uppal. In her welcome address, Dr. Joohi Samarpita emphasized that IKS is a key component of the National Education Policy 2020, promoting value-based and holistic education.

Sessions included meditation and yoga led by Dr. Sureen Bhullar, followed by academic presentations by Pamela Ghosh Dutt, Gayatri Kumari and Poonam Kumari on Vedic traditions and mathematics.
Chief Guest District Education Superintendent Ashish Pandey distributed certificates and stated, “Teachers must share this knowledge with students to bridge gaps between government and private education.” The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Meenakshi Chaudhary.
