Jamshedpur, Oct 30: DBMS College known for its commitment to quality education, kicked off the two-day introductory session for the B.Ed students of the 23-25 academic session with a ceremonial lamp lighting. The event saw the college’s faculty, management, and academic staff warmly welcoming the new students.
B Chandrashekhar, President of the college, delivered a heartwarming welcome address to the students, emphasizing the vital role teachers play in shaping the nation. He encouraged the future educators to foster a lifelong passion for learning and a continuous quest for knowledge.

Sripriya Dharmarajan, the College Secretary, reiterated the college’s reputation for providing excellent education and urged the students to dedicate themselves to their studies and personal growth, ensuring their knowledge serves the betterment of society.
Satish Singh, Secretary of the Governing Body, extended his best wishes to the students and reminded them that they are not just students but future teachers, holding the potential to shape young minds.
Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita shared insights into the college’s objectives, mission, and vision, while Vice Principal Dr Monica Uppal provided an overview of the college’s rules and regulations to the students.
Event also featured introductions to the college’s management committee members, academic and non-academic staff via a PPT presentation.
Additionally, the college’s dedicated teaching staff took the opportunity to brief the students on their respective subjects. Among those present at the event were college co-secretaries Usha Ramanathan and Tamil Balakrishnan, along with Geeta Natarajan. Faculty members including Dr. Surina Bhullar, Archana Kumari, Poonam Kumari, and Moushumi Dutta, along with Kanchan Tiwari, Gayatri Kumari, and Amrita Chaudhary, were actively involved.
