Jamshedpur, January 28: The Placement Cell of DBMS College of Education successfully organized an On-Campus Placement Drive on 28th January, 2026, providing a significant platform for aspiring teachers to begin their professional journey.
The placement drive witnessed the participation of around 10 reputed schools, which offered promising employment opportunities to prospective educators. Approximately 60 students appeared for the interview process, which included direct interaction with school representatives. The event enabled students to showcase their teaching skills, confidence, and professional readiness.
The initiative reflects the institution’s sustained efforts to enhance student employability and strengthen school–college collaboration.

The Placement Cell In-charge, Mousumi Dutta, played a pivotal role in the smooth coordination of the drive by effectively liaising between the interviewers and the interviewees.
The programme was guided under the leadership of Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Principal, DBMS College of Education, along with Dr. Monika Uppal, Vice Principal, who actively coordinated with various prestigious schools of Jamshedpur to ensure the success of the placement drive.
The college management, B. Chandrasekhar, Sripriya Dharmarajan, Secretary, and Sudha Dilip, Joint Secretary —extended their constant support and encouragement, reaffirming their commitment to providing the best placement opportunities for students.
