Jamshedpur, Nov 5: The students of DBMS Career Academy showcased their creativity and innovation during the school’s Annual Exhibition held on November 4, 2025. Around 70 models were displayed, covering a wide range of subjects including science, mathematics, business studies, accounting, computers, mass communication and economics.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Jhumjhumi Nandi, Principal of Jusco School, Kadma. The exhibition was judged by Dr. Chandana Kumari, HOD of Computer Science at Al-Kabir Polytechnic and Dr. Kavita Singh, Assistant Professor at Women’s College, Bistupur. Principal Soma Banerjee formally welcomed the guests, while Chairperson (Admin) Lalita Chandrashekhar presented tokens of appreciation.
Nandi praised the students’ efforts, saying she was “deeply impressed by the creativity, innovation and interdisciplinary approach reflected in each model.” The exhibition was open to all parents, teachers and students from DBMS institutions.
The winners were: 1st Prize – Maths Park (Charvi Choksi, Std. X); 2nd Prize – Maglev Train (Apoorva Ayan, Std. X); 3rd Prize – Earthquake Alarm (Ayush Shrivastava, Std. IX) and Helmet for the Visually Challenged (Vineet Rao, Std. XII).
Members of the management committee, including Geeta Mohandas, Meena Sundar Raj and Vasanthi Raghuram, congratulated the Principal and staff on the event’s grand success.
