D.B.M.S. Alumni Association Distributes Art Supplies at Golpahari School

Jamshedpur: The D.B.M.S. College of Education Alumni Association, “Setu,” organized a distribution drive titled “VARN-SETU” at Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Golpahari. The association provided drawing books and color pencil sets to students in Classes 1 through 5.

The Distribution Drive

Volunteers distributed the art materials to the primary school students to provide tools for self-expression and motor skill development. The association aims to support foundational learning and increase student engagement in government schools.

“Art helps children think and build confidence,” the organizers stated. “We provided these materials to offer a space for creativity.”

School and Community Impact

School principal Asha Panday acknowledged the alumni group during the event. “Our students received their own color pencils for the first time,” Panday said. “This support encourages school attendance.”

The D.B.M.S. Alumni Association conducts regular community service programs across Jharkhand. These initiatives focus on education access and child development in both rural and urban government schools.
