Day 2 of 6th National Para Badminton Championship sees nail biting contests in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 21: Day 2 of the ongoing 6th National Para Badminton Championship saw some fierce encounters at the JRD Tata Sports Complex where total around 300 knock out matches were played.

Participants from the states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Haryana and Tamil Nadu performed well overall.

Tomorrow another around 100 knock out matches will be played in the Championship, which will conclude on March 23. 

The Championship kicked off on March 19 while the matches are played at Mohan Ahuja Stadium and Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre at JRD Tata Sports Complex from March 20. The event promises to showcase the incredible talent and determination of para badminton athletes from across the country.

Organised by the Tata Steel and Tata Steel Foundation under the aegis of Badminton Association of India, Para Olympics and Jharkhand Badminton Association, the championship brings together para badminton players from across the country of all skill levels to compete in a display of sportsmanship and skill.

The event aims to promote inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and raise awareness about para sports in India.
