Akhand Tiranga Yatra in Jamshedpur on March 23 to showcase unity and strength

Jamshedpur: In a fervent display of patriotism, the Shaheed Samman Yatra cum Akhand Tiranga Yatra will kick off from Agrico Maidan on March 23 morning, honoring the martyrs with the grandest tricolor march. Patron of Naman, Amarpreet Singh Kale has passionately urged city residents to join this noble journey, emphasizing the importance of their love, support, and blessings, echoing the tradition upheld every year.

This year marks the ninth edition of the Yatra, set to commence at 9:55 am from Agrico Transport Ground. The route will wind through Agrico Roundabout, Bhaalubasa, Sakchi, Vasant Cinema, Kalimati Road via RD Tata Chowk, and Police Lines, paying heartfelt homage to the immortal martyrs before culminating back at Agrico Ground.

The Naman organization, committed to preserving the dreams of martyrs and nurturing patriotism, unity, and harmony, stands at the helm of this initiative. Since its inception in response to divisive rhetoric in 2016, the organization has steadfastly championed the spirit of love and brotherhood on March 23rd, the martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev Ji.

Led by the Rath of Maa Bharati or Yatra Agri, the procession epitomizes collective reverence for the martyrs, with throngs of patriots, youth, ex-servicemen, and community representatives converging in disciplined unity.

Beyond its commemorative significance, the Yatra serves as a powerful testament to the nation’s unity and strength, reaffirming the enduring values for which the martyrs laid down their lives.

Founder of Naman, Amarpreet Singh Kale, passionately emphasized the historical importance of the event, tracing its roots back to 2016. The Yatra was initiated in response to divisive sentiments in JNU, with the aim of fostering unity and integrity in the community. Kale expressed the organization’s commitment to upholding the spirit of nationalism, promoting values encapsulated in chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram.’
