DAV Public School, Bistupur celebrates Jharkhand Foundation Day

Jamshedpur: DAV Public School, Bistupur, marked the 25th Jharkhand Foundation Day and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda with a vibrant week-long celebration filled with enthusiasm, cultural spirit, and heartfelt tributes.

The Silver Jubilee Week began with a warm and joyful Grandparents’ Day celebration on November 8, 2025, followed by UNNAYANAM on November 11, Children’s Day on November 14, and a colourfulBalmela on November 15. These events commemorated both Jharkhand’s Statehood Day and the birth anniversary of tribal icon Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

The day also held special significance for the DAV fraternity as it marked the birth anniversary of Narayan Das Grover Ji, revered as the Father of DAV Schools in Jharkhand. A special Hawan was organised to honour his remarkable contribution as an educationist and philanthropist.

The school campus came alive during Balmela, which transformed the premises into a festive carnival filled with laughter, energy and creativity. Children, teachers and staff participated with great excitement, enjoying an array of colourful stalls offering delicious snacks, sweets and interactive activities. The lively ambience, cheerful chatter and spirited participation created a memorable atmosphere that captured the essence of celebration.

The event provided students with an opportunity to relax, bond with their peers and create lasting memories beyond the classroom. The overwhelming joy and engagement of the children reflected the success of the occasion.
