Naomundi, April 16 : Tata DAV Public School organized a farewell ceremony for the class 12 students at Recreation Club, Noamudi.
The Ceremony was inaugurated by Tata Steel General Manger Pankaj Satija in presence of Prerna Mahila Samiti Secretary Madhusmita Jena and Dr Sudikshna Sharma.
The guests were welcomed with a song sung by music teacher Rasmi Bhattacharya and students. Principal T K Mishra addressing the students said, the main challange lies ahead. Every children wants to become a doctor and an engineer but the nation demands good human being.
Later, the students were given away mementos by the guests who wished them a bright future.
Finally, all the children stood facing the Indian map and while holding lamp in their hands the children pledged to make their life glorious and contribute in nation building.
The chief guest advised the students not to forget to roots and never stop learning. The students also performed a mesmerizing dance where the head boy Anshuma and head girl Riya Mukherjee told the parents and teachers and said that we would never forget the love and affection bestowed upon them during the twelve years of school journey. Teacher A P Dubey anchored the program.
