Jamshedpur, Jan. 28: DAV Public School, Adityapur, NIT, celebrated the 151st birth anniversary of Lala Lajpat Rai on Saturday, January 28 at the school premises.
At the event tributes were paid to the freedom fighter who was popularly referred to as ‘Punjab Kesari’. Students of the school shed light on the life of Lala Lajpat Rai.
Principal of the school, OP Mishra while addressing the gathering said, despite begin from a normal educated family, Lala Lajpat Rai played a vital role in the freedom movement.
He was not only a social worker but also a social reformer, good speaker and a writer.
Principal informed the children about the CSRI act and asked the students to walk on the path laid down by Lala Lajpat Rai.
