Jamshedpur, Jan. 8:DAV Public School, NIT, Adityapur, celebrated its Silver Jubilee function with style, flair and panache with a series of programs, in the school premises.
The function began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Major Puneet Bedi, S K Luthra, Regional Director DAV Public Schools, Jamshedpur Zone, S P Sharma, the first and the former principal of DAV Public School, NIT, R K Roy, DAV Public School, AraKuju, AM Tigga, Dean, National Institute of Technology, Adityapur, O P Mishra, principal, DAV Public School, NIT Adityapur and other eminent dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest Major Bedi appreciated the achievements of the school and wished for their bright future ahead while S K Luthra praised the school children for putting in their excellent performances in the academics and co-curricular activities over the years. He expressed his happiness for all the teaching and non-teaching faculty in making the program a great success.
He then felicitated all the founder teachers, the teaching and non-teaching members and the guests.
