Shiven and Shivangi bag top spots in CBSE class 12 exam
Jamshedpur, May 12: Continuing its dominance in the CBSE class 10 and 12 exam, students of DAV Public School Bistupur have come out with flying colours. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results on Friday, May 12.

The school registered a cent percent result as the 281 students of the school appeared for the class 10 exam cleared it with flying colours and 110 students of the school scored 90 % and above marks. Twisha Mukherjee has been declared the school and city topper scoring 99 percent marks. Aryan Mishra and Ram Niranjan Singh with 98.6 % marks were declared joint second school topper and Rishabh Kumar was third with 98 % marks.

DAV Bistupur also produced city topper in Class 12 (Science and Humanities).
In class 12 (Humanities) Shivangi Mishra has been declared the city topper scoring 97.6 % marks. School registered cent percent result as all 44 students cleared the exam and 10 students scored 90% and above marks. Aparna scored 96.4 % marks to bag the second spot in school followed by Apoorva Jha 95.2 %.

In class 12 (Commerce) the school not only registered a cent percent result but four students of the school scored 90 % and above marks. Ayush Kumar Sahu with 92.4 % marks has been declared the school topper followed by Abhishek Bhattacharyya 91.4% and T Pragati 91.2 % marks.
In Class 12 (Science) Shiven Sharma has been declared the school and city topper with 97.6 % marks. Total of 383 students appeared the exam (Science) and all cleared the exam with flying colours. 62 students of the school scored 90 % and above marks.
Rhea Menezes was second school topper scoring 96.6 % marks while Sumit Kumar bagged the third spot with 96.4 % marks.
School Principal Pragya Singh seemed content with the result saying our students have performed better than expected as the teachers have put in their hard work.
“We are really happy with the performance of our students as we have achieved 100 per cent results and several students of the school are in the list of top 10 in the city,” she added.
She further said that several students of the school cleared the JEE Mains and hope the same is repeated when the JEE Advanced results are out. (W-mb)
