Jamshedpur, Sep 11: DAV Public School, Bistupur, Jamshedpur, organized a two-day Capacity Building Programme for Science and Biology teachers from September 9th to 10th, 2024, under the aegis of DAV CAE. The workshop focused on enhancing teaching skills for Secondary and Senior Secondary level teachers, drawing participation from 25 Science teachers (Std. III to VIII) and 12 Biology teachers (Std. IX to XII) from various DAV schools in Jharkhand Zone-E.
The event commenced with the DAV GAAN and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Pragya Singh, ARO and Principal of DAV Public School, Bistupur, who highlighted the significance of continuous learning in fostering both academic and holistic development of students. She emphasized activity-based learning and a scientific approach.

Biology sessions included topics like effective learning activity plans, cell division, and biotechnology, delivered by experts such as Shashi Kala and Raju Kumar Singh. Science sessions covered child-centric classrooms, experiential learning, and inquiry-based teaching, led by educators like Jaya Sharma and Poonam Kaur Soor.
The programme concluded with collaborative activities, a reflection on best practices, and the exchange of ideas among participants, expressing gratitude to the resource persons for enriching their teaching methods.
