Jamshedpur, Jan 29: DAV Public School, Bistupur, organised a Havan ceremony on Wednesday to seek blessings for Class X students appearing in the upcoming board examinations. The spiritual programme was attended by the school principal, students from Classes V, VI, VII, and X, teachers, and staff members.
The ceremony began with the chanting of Om, Vedic hymns, and prayers, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere across the campus. Following Arya Samaj traditions, students performed the Yagna with devotion and offered oblations while Vedic mantras were recited.
Principal Mrs Pragya Singh extended her best wishes to the Class X students and highlighted the importance of the Havan in purifying the mind and environment. She said such spiritual practices help reduce mental stress, bring peace, and spread positive energy in society. She also prayed for the good health and success of the students.
The Yagna concluded successfully with offerings made in 105 Havan kunds, praying for peace and prosperity.
