Dark clouds, rains, mist and fog usher in biting chill in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Since early morning on Friday, the city has remained under cloud cover with rains, mist and fog ushering in biting chill. Going by prediction of the Indian Meteorological Department, the conditions will prevail on Saturday, January 30. The maximum temperature recorded in Jamshedpur on Friday was 27.8 degree Celsius while the minimum dropped to 11.3 degrees Celsius. The prediction also included that temperature would continue to dip throughout the week. The Indian meteorological department has predicted that mist and fog will persist through the week.

According to the report morning conditions would be marked by the presence of mist and fog between January 30 and February 4. The minimum temperature on February 1 qnd 2 may touch 9 degrees Celsius.

Heart specialist of Brahmanand Hospital Dr Santosh Gupta warned that cold conditions accounted for heart and cerebral attacks. As such he advised people to take all possible measures against the cold and to go outdoors only if necessitated.
