Jamshedpur, Sept 4: Brahmanandam Shikshayatan is all set to celebrate teacher�s day at Brahmolokdham in Kadma on Saturday, September 5.
The institute which imparts lessons in Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Vocal Music, Tabla and Fine Arts will be hosting its seventh annual function were students will put up classical, folk and fusion dance thereby paying tribute to their teachers.
Brahmanandam Shikshayatan is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and has been promoting Indian Classical Dance and music since its inception in 2008.
President of the institute, Monu Bhattacharya said, �We have been celebrating Teacher�s Day (5th September) as annual day since 2009 and have felicitated stalwarts in the field of music and dance including the likes of Tiyali Mitter, Rita Mitra, Sonali Chhaterjee, Sandip Bose, Tapas Debnath and several others.
We will continue with our effort to imbibe the wonderful classical music heritage of India to all our students�, he added.
