Mail News Service Jamshedpur, August 11: On the instructions of JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar, continuous fogging work is being done regularly in Jamshedpur under supervision of Junior Engineer Birendra Kumar. On Wednesday, Guria Maidan, Road # 5, Birsanagar, Panchvati Nagar in Sonari, Tilu Bhatta and areas in Sonari, Cable Town and DS Flats fogging was conducted. Special officer Krishna Kumar has instructed for regular fogging. These days, fogging work is being done regularly in all the areas of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee to avoid the outbreak of mosquito borne diseases in the rainy season. 3,590 applications for PMAY at Birsanagar received at JNAC Applicants for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) have been regularly collecting application forms at the JNAC office and are being directed to deposit challans worth Rs 5,000 each at banks to avail of the affordable housing project facilities. It may be mentioned that 9,592 houses are to be constructed under the project at Birsanagar. 3,590 applicants have deposited Rs 5,000 each at the bank. 3,042 houses in 10 blocks are already under construction under the Birsanagar PMAY project. The last date of submission of application forms along with challans is August 21.
