D.B.M.S. Kadma installs new Senate for 2024-25 term

Jamshedpur, June 25: D.B.M.S. KADMA High School held its Senate Installation Ceremony at the “KALAKRITI” auditorium, inaugurating the new senate for the academic year 2024-25. The event aimed to instill a strong sense of commitment and responsibility among the student body, preparing them for future leadership roles within the school community.

Under the auspices of the School Managing Committee, which included Lalitha Chandrashekhar (Chairperson Administration, D.B.M.S BOT and President – D.B.M.S. Kadma High School), Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), and Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), the ceremony commenced with a formal procession of the senate members. Each student took a solemn oath, pledging to execute their duties with utmost sincerity and efficiency.

During the ceremony, responsibilities were assigned to the newly elected senate members in the presence of faculty members, house moderators, and department heads. The composition of the School Senate for the term includes Prabhjot Singh as President and Shahan as Vice President. House captains and vice captains were also appointed for Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz houses, ensuring representation across various school activities.

In addition to house leadership, key ministerial positions were filled, with Priyanka Mahato appointed as Cultural Minister, Ayush Raj as Sports Minister, and Praveer Kashyap as Discipline Minister. Each member of the senate pledged to uphold the school’s vision and mission, promising to demonstrate integrity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in their respective roles.
