Jamshedpur, Oct 26: The Rotaract Club of D.B.M.S. College of Education organized its annual Diwali Mela, continuing a cherished tradition. The event was inaugurated by Bhanumathi Neelkanthan, Patron of D.B.M.S. Trust, alongside President B. Chandrasekhar, Lalitha Chandrasekhar, College Secretary Sripriya Dharmarajan, Joint Secretary Sudha Dilip, Governing Body Secretary Satish Singh, college principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita and and Vice-Principal Dr Monica Uppal.
Highlight of the fair was display of diyas, candles, resin art, jewellery, and vibrant torans, crafted by specially abled children and their parents. Twenty stalls showcased local, handmade products, while homemade bakery items, chocolates, and food were also available for sale. Popular attractions included a mehendi corner, lucky draw, and a live home decor art workshop.
College Secretary Sripriya Dharmarajan praised Rotaract Moderator Anjali Ganesan and the club members for successfully organizing the event.
