Cultural programme organized on Karma Parv eve in Chaibasa

Chaibasa, Aug 29: A cultural programme cum get-together was organized on the eve of Karma Parv at Pillai Town Hall, Chaibasa, on Monday. A play titled ‘Shiksha Hi Jyoti’, written by Prakash Kumar Gupta, was also enacted today. The play gave a message on illiteracy in tribal community and its adverse impact on Adivasis. City-based cultural outfit Shrishti organized the event.

Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda was present as a distinguished guest during the prize distribution ceremony. He gave cash prize to the winners. He praised the organizers for the event.
