Jamshedpur: A cultural heritage exchange programme was organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology on Thursday. Korean students presented various events including fan dance, kata, tile breaking, songs and a skit titled �Everything�.
The programme was inaugurated by the college chairman Binda Singh and secretary Bharat Singh. Binda Singh said the purpose of the programme was to bring students of India and Korea together and provide them a platform to share their cultural values.
A welcome speech was given by a student, Manish Kumar. The programme started off with Saraswati Vandana. The students enjoyed the various events organized on the occasion by Korean and RVSCET students.
The RVSCET students presented Ganesh Vandana. A solo song was presented by Sonalika. The students of 2011-2015 batch presented a theme dance.
The director of RVSCET Dr MP Singh said such programmes should be organized on a regular basis as they helped strengthen the bond between the people of different countries.
Among those present on the occasion included Dr Sukomal Ghosh, Dr BP Verma, Anant Raj, Dr Rajesh Tiwary, Dr HL Sah, Dr Vikram Sharma, BN Choudhary, Arvind Kumar Singh, RP Singh, Nirmalendu Roy Choudhary, Sanjeev Srivastava, Rajan Tiwary, Ranjan Das and Devjeet Sadhu.
