Ranchi: Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma on Thursday said that the government is trying to inspect land to implement MoUs signed during the Global Investors’ Summit.
She said the state government was trying to ensure that the industries should be set up maximum on government land and that minimum rayyat land is acquired and used for the purpose. “If rayyat’s land will be required, the govt. will pay 4 times more price for it. The concerned entrepreneurs are being corresponded for land inspection, land acquisition and planting industries in the state,” she said.
Verma inspected 210 acres government land in Sodha Mauja in Namkom block and directed the officers to complete the process for pillaring. She also inspected 33 acre land in Saher Mauja in Nagri block and 125 acres in Ormanjhi block.
The CS said that the government has identified land for the 210 MoUs signed during Global Investors’ Summit. “We will discuss and decide how to allot identified land at Namkom for different industries,” she said.
During land inspection, special secretary Puja Singhal, Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar, Ranchi LRDC Anwar Hussain and other officers were present.
