Ranchi, Dec.26: Speaking in the state level meeting of non-banking financial companies, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma said that all regulatory bodies as RBI, SEBI, NHM etc. should provide list of all licensed institutions to the state govt.
The list of these institutions should be sent to all districts.
Verma said that all officers-in-charge should lodge complaints against depositing institutions other than licensed ones. At the same time, the officers-in-charge should certify that no chit- fund company in his area is involved with illegal collection of money. All COs will ascertain that no chit- fund company in their area is involved with illegal collection of money.
In the watchmen parade, information related with activities of chit-fund companies will be collected and the officers-in-charge will take action accordingly.
RBI MD Manoj Verma, R. K. Mallik from Police HQs, CID ADG Ajay Kumar, officers of SEBI, NHB etc. were present in the meeting.
