Ranchi, Aug. 31: Laying stress to speed up fund distribution against land acquisition, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma directed all ACs to complete land acquisition process for NH-32, 33 and 02.
The funds against land acquisition in different banks should be verified by making a team and transferred in the accounts of beneficiaries from the joint account of NHAI through DBT. She said it while reviewing the Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms.
The CS said to identify such bushes falling in 2-5 km diameter of the districts bodies on roads, NH and other important areas and obtain NOC from the Forest Department. Joint survey with the DFO should be conducted to ensure this.

Chief Secretary further said that demand letter for clearance of forest-bush areas should be sent to Forest Dept.
and NOC obtained through coordination. For funds transfer, camps should be held in all districts. At the same time, valuation of the land to be acquired should be fixed with the help of executive engineer.
Moreover, it should also be ensured and verified whether work has started on the acquired land or not and the concerned department should be informed.
Land for police camps, IRBs, SRBs and others should be provided after reviewing the reports received from Dept. of Home. Revenue Sec K. K. Soan and other officers were present in the meeting.
