CS congratulates Singharasi Air Force delegation on completing 50 years

Ranchi: Congratulating the Singharasi Air Force delegation members on completing 50 Years, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma said that sacrificing life for the nation is a matter of pride.

Singharasi Air Force Station which is located between Dumka and Pakur is completing its glorious 50th anniversary on 31st October 2017 in which Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Principal Secretary (Home) and Jharkhand DGP in addition to Air Marshal Anil Khosla and senior officers of Air Force will participate.

Group Captain Abhishek Jha said the Singharasi Air Force Station is equipped with Radar Unit which conducts surveillances. It is a unit of 30 officers and 400 air warriors. On the Golden Jubilee Program on 31st October, around 40,000 people are expected to participate.

A team of fighter aircrafts, para-jumping team of Akash Ganga and Surya Kiran Aerobatic Display Team will be prime attractions of the program. Indian Air Force will display its strength in the program.

The delegation also comprised of Wing Commander Chief Technical Officer Viju Pillai and Wing Commander Chief Administrative Officer Anand Menon.
