Ranchi: A central reserve police force (CRPF) jawan, Ashish Sharma, shot himself dead at the CRPF camp in Rania in Khunti district on Thursday.
The incident took place in the morning. Sources said the sub inspector was upset over domestic problems. He took the extreme step under mental stress, police station.
He was a resident of Haryana. Cops have intimated his family members about the incident and sent his body to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science for postmortem examination.
