Seraikela: Ekta Daud (unity run) was organized on Sunday by the 196 Battalion of CRPF at Birsa Chowk in Seraikela to mark the 75th establishment day.
The deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Hansraj Singh flagged off the participants along with the CRPF commandant Ramesh Kumar Pandey.
The DC and the commandant garlanded a statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda during the inauguration of the programme. The DC said the CRPF had long been disposing its responsibility and keeping peace in the country.
The CRPF commandant spoke about the objectives with which the CRPF was formed.
