
Jamshedpur: �Unknown criminals decamped with cash and ornaments of deity at the Krishna Temple in the densely-populated Refugee Colony under Golmuri police sation area� today.
The criminals who had kept their faces covered entered into the temple by breaking open the ventilator.

The act of committing the theft in the temple has already been recorded in the CCTV.
OC, Gulmuri police station Ranvijay Sharma and deputy superintendent of police (city) Anudip Singh went to temple.
“As per our probe the thieves had entered into the temple through a ventilator by breaking it open.� We can not say how many criminals had entered into the temple, but it must be more than one,” said Sharma.

The OC said apparently the thieves have taken money from the donation-box, but how much money were stolen is not known.
The police have recovered the CCTV footage of the act of theft and are trying to detect the case by following the image of the thieves from the CCTV footage.
As the priest opened the temple’s door at about 5 am today, he found the donation-box lying broken open and coins are lying strewn on the floor of the temple.
“We are shocked to see the box opened. We do not know how much money was in the donation-box, but it was full of currency notes and coins,” said the priest Sudarshan Sharma . He said ornaments are also gone and the temple committee are making an estimate of the lost ornaments.
The priest said the worth of the stolen ornaments and cash from the donation-box must be in lakhs, but the exact extent of loss is being estimated.
