Baharagora: Communist Party of India (CPI) members took out a procession on Wednesday in support of their various demands. The procession started at the party office, Pashupati Bhavan, and culminated into a gathering at the block office. The party members put up a demonstration before the block office and held a public meeting.
They alleged that the ‘anti-public’ policies of the state and Central governments were causing much hardship to the people.
They said the government in both Jharkhand as well as in the Centre should take necessary steps to help the farmers tide over loan and other important issues. They handed over a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister to BDO Lalit Prasad Singh.
