Ranchi, Sept 7: There was uproar during the ongoing monsoon session in the Jharkhand Assembly on Tuesday, September 7 when during the supplementary budget discussion BJP’s CP Singh was speaking. Health Minister spoke to rebut Singh’s statement when the latter observed, “What credentials does a Tempo Agent have to speak to me.”
All hell broke loose in the Assembly when all the ministers and ruling party MLAs broke into the well of the House and started creating ruckus. The situation reached such a high that Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto had to intervene after which CP Singh had to withdraw his statement. The fracas was marked by a heated argument between Banna Gupta and CP Singh. Later the Speaker sponged him from the proceedings.
This led the BJP MLAs to boycott the proceedings and leave the House. The Speaker adjourned the House proceedings till 11 am on Wednesday, September 8.
