Saraikela, Aug 25: A special COVID-19 test drive in Saraikela-Kharsawan district is underway and will continue till September 5. All Community Health Centres in the district have been given targets for conducting the three-layered tests. Civil Surgeon Dr Himanshu Bhushan Barwar said that all the CHCs have been set testing targets. The tests comprise RTPCR, Truenet and Rapid Antigen Test (RDK) and in case of targets not being attained the responsible CHC medical in-charge will be issued show cause notices.
The eight CHCs in the district include Saraikela, Kharsawan, Kuchai, Rajnagar, Gamharia, Chandil, Ichagarh and Nimdih. Two teams will conduct the three types of tests at each centre. Each team will have to conduct RTPCR 30 tests, Truenet 15 and RDK 30 daily. As such each day at every CHC RTPCR 60, Truenet 30 and RDK 60 COVID-19 tests have to be conducted daily.
