Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Lending a helping hand to the administration to help them, a possible third wave of Corona, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato on Monday handed over seven ambulances and hearses from his MP fund.
In a function organised at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, MP , District Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar, former MP Shailendra Mahato and BJP district president Gunjan Yadav jointly dedicated the keys of ambulances to the members of various organizations.
Out of total 7 ambulances, 5 general type ambulances, equipped with all kinds of facilities for the patients, besides two hearses have also been provided. It is noteworthy that there were often demands from the general public to the MP that there was a lack of proper arrangements for transportation of dead bodies in the city. Keeping this in mind, Mahto made available two vehicles from his fund for the general public.
On the occasion, he said that so far 15 ambulances have been made available for the people of Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency. Most of the ambulances have been made available for rural areas so that villagers do not face any problem in commuting to the city or reaching the higher medical centre.
Organizations which were provided ambulances today included Rankini Cultural Club Jagannathpur, Radha Swami Satsang Musabani, Messi Hospital Bawdi Gudabandha, Maa Sheetla Mahila Samiti Dakshinasol Chakulia, Maa Kali Mahila Samiti Dimudih, Bodam, Marwari Yuva Manch Jugsalai, Swarnrekha Ghat Muktidham Seva Trust Maubhandar Ghatshila.
On this occasion mainly Anil Singh, Sanjeev Sinha, Jitendra Rai, Manjit Singh, Pappu Singh, Amit Agarwal, Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan, Navjot Singh, Jotu Kunal Mahto, Jaswant Mahto, S Karthik, Ashutosh Das, Chanchal Chakraborty, Varun Singh Many workers including Balveer Mandal, Sanjeev Kumar were also present.
